A. Advance payment is mandatory, for Airport Pickup.
B. Airport Pickups (where advance payment is not made) you must call customer care or cab driver and inform about your arrival. Because driver will not enter the parking lot unless he gets the confirmation about arrival. We will also track the flight arrival and instruct him for the same.
C. Parking charges and toll charges (if any) would be paid by the customer
A. Passengers are expected to behave respectfully and responsibly during the use of our services. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or abusive behavior towards Drivers or other passengers is strictly prohibited. Abusive behavior will not be tolerated, and riders engaging in such behavior may be excluded from any future services provided by Auckland Ride Limited. Both the Driver and the passenger are responsible for their safety during the ride. Any behavior that compromises safety or violates local laws is strictly prohibited.
A. Electronic payment receipt can be obtained via SMS & Email, if you call our customer care number.
B. Our system auto generate invoice and send it optionally by Email at the end of journey.
C. In case you have paid only paid booking amount but not full advance payment then Auckland Ride Limited will give you only “Provisional Confirmation" via email, if you make full advance payment for the booking, then you will get ‘’Booking confirmation’’ via email.
D. Auckland Ride Limited reserves the rights to deny cab to any booking where advance payment is not made.
E. Full payment need to made by Cash/Card directly to the driver at the end of the journey.
F. All advance online payment must be made 24 hours before the start of the journey, so that our back– end team have sufficient time to confirm the payment.
G. Users can book a taxi through our mobile application or website. Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information for booking.
H. Payments for the services can be made through the methods specified on our platform. All charges are displayed before confirmation, and users agree to pay the specified amount for the services received.
I. Advance payment is mandatory for Rides with a fare over $100 : Advance payment must be made through the methods specified on our platform prior to the commencement of the ride. Failure to make advance payment, may result in the cancellation of the booking.
A. In case it’s airport pick up on arrival, kindly call our customer care before boarding your flight and give all the details, it will help us for arranging a cab for you.
B. Only Two suitcases are allowed in one cab (1 big suitcase and 1 small suitcase). If you bring more suitcases/bags and the suitcases/bags are not fitting into the cab, then Auckland Ride Limited is not responsible for arranging another cab and the booking will be cancelled and 50% of the amount will be refunded to the customer.
C. Our Cab charges are calculated based on kms and time and does not include Toll, Driver night allowance charges. (e.g. Outstation, Return trips, Local Trips)
D. Cab booking must be preferably made 24 hours in advance and in case of urgent / short-notice booking, it depends on availability of driver and cab at that point of time.
E. Free pick up available only within 5 kms from the Companies office, after that it will be charged on the basis of kms and time.
F. Cab tariffs are subject to change without prior notice.
G. For Airport or Bus/Rail Station Drops, if the customer misses the flight/Train/Bus due to any delays then Auckland Ride Limited is not liable for compensating for the same.
H. During peak hours or in case of shortage. Auckland Ride Limited may act as a facilitator between the customer & a local cab service provider (Vendor). Wherein the service is provided by the one of our select vendors using his own car & driver. In many cases you may have to pay directly to the vendor/Driver as advised by our customer care executive.
I. Auckland Ride Limited make every effort to verify the select vendors based on are reliability, background and history of their services. But in certain events vendors may use cabs not already verified by the Auckland Ride Limited. Claims if any will be settled as per existing laws in New Zealand by the concerned insurance company or the owner of the cab.
J. Night charges will be applicable after 12 midnight.
K. No Smoking, Vaping, Food, or Drink :. Smoking, vaping, consumption of food, and drinks are strictly prohibited inside the vehicle during the ride. This policy is in place to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all passengers and drivers. Violation of this policy may result in additional cleaning fees and penalties.
L. In the event of any accident or damage to the vehicle, or theft, the passenger / customer is required to inform our customer care immediately and should also get First Information Report filed at the nearest police station at their own cost.
M. A soilage fee upto $250 may be applied to any ride if the rider creates a mess in the taxi, necessitating additional cleaning and sanitization. This includes incidents such as spills, stains, or dirt caused by dirty shoes, in addition to other forms of soilage.
N. Any parking, traffic or driving violation, which are not caused due to driver’s mistakes /negligence will be collected from the customer.
Passengers may bring friendly, controlled dogs, or animals in cages during the ride. It is the passenger’s responsibility to ensure the safety and proper restraint of the animals. Drivers have the right to refuse service if they deem the animal poses a safety risk or is not properly restrained. The owner of the animal is fully responsible for any damage caused by the animal during the ride.
If a passenger is visibly intoxicated, they must be accompanied by a sober person who will ensure the passenger’s safety during the ride. The sober person is responsible for assisting the intoxicated passenger during the ride. Drivers have the right to refuse service to visibly intoxicated passengers if they do not have a sober person accompanying them. The Driver, at their discretion, may return the sober person back to the point of origin (e.g., the party location) after ensuring the safe arrival of the intoxicated passenger. A fee may be charged to the sober rider for the return trip, and the amount will be communicated by the Driver. The sober person is responsible for ensuring the safe arrival of the intoxicated passenger at their destination.
If any items are found in the car, all attempts will be made to return them to the owner. If the owner is found and the items is returned to the Owner then $ 50 will be charged as Lost Item returned fee.If all Attempts are made to reach the owner and the owner is not found, after 14 days, the items will become the property of Auckland Ride Limited.
A. The Customer agrees and acknowledges that the use of the services offered by Auckland Ride Limited is at the sole risk of the Customer and that Auckland Ride Limited disclaims all representations and warranties of any kind, whether express or implied as to condition, suitability, quality, merchantability and fitness for any purposes are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by law.
A. The service will meet your requirements.
B. The service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.
C. Without prejudice to the above, Auckland Ride Limited shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage which may be suffered by the Customer as a result of any failure by Auckland Ride Limited to provide a cab to the Customer within any stipulated time even if Auckland Ride Limited has agreed to so provide the cab or even if the Customer has advised Auckland Ride Limited of the possibility that any such loss or damage would result if the cab is not provided at all or within the stipulated time.
D. The Customer shall indemnify Auckland Ride Limited from and against and in respect of any or all liabilities, losses, charges and expenses (including legal fees and costs on a full indemnify basis) claims, demands, actions and proceedings which Auckland Ride Limited may incur or sustain directly or indirectly from or by any reason of or in relation to the use or purposed use of the Services by the Customer and shall pay such sums on demand.
E. Auckland Ride Limited is hereby authorized to use the location based information provided by any of the telecommunication companies when the Customer uses the mobile phone to make a cab booking. The location based information will be used only to facilitate and improve the probability of locating a cab for the Customer.
F. Auckland Ride Limited shall be entitled at any time without giving any reason or prior notice to terminate the booking of cabs done by the Customer.
G. For passenger security purpose all vehicles registered with Auckland Ride Limited may be continuously tracked using GPS application.
H. Auckland Ride Limited have right to use the customer contact information for informing you about our promotional offers and for marketing purpose.
I. Auckland Ride Limited does not warrant that this site, its servers, or e-mail sent from Auckland Ride Limited are free of viruses or other harmful components. Auckland Ride Limited will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site, including, but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, and consequential damages.
Any claims against Auckland Ride Limited, its affiliates, employees, or agents, in any way related to the services provided, shall be limited to a maximum of $200. This limitation applies to all claims, including but not limited to damages, losses, injuries, or disputes arising from the use of our services.
Auckland Ride Limited. is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services, to the extent permitted by New Zealand law. Passengers are responsible for their personal belongings during the ride. Auckland Ride Limited is not responsible for lost, damaged, or stolen items.
Auckland Ride Limited reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions of Use, including our Cancellation, Refund, Privacy Policy and additional information. Any such modification will be effective immediately upon public posting. Your continued use of our Service and this Site following any such modification constitutes your acceptance of these modified Terms and conditions, including our Cancellation, Refund, Privacy Policy and additional information.
